1)  Where is Sirom Beach House (SBH)?

 

SBH is located in Tambobong Beach, Dasol, Pangasinan. It is approximately 5-6 hours from Manila.

 

 2)  How do I get to Sirom Beach House?

 

OLD ROAD: Waze or Google Maps: Sirom Beach House. Guests with motion sickness prefer this. Expect a few meters of rough road. Once you see the huge tire, turn left.

 

NEWER and MORE SCENIC but more winding. You can search for Bobonot Elementary School via WAZE or Google Maps. Once you see the Dasol Arch, it will be around one and a half kilometers to Bobonot entrance from the main road.

 

Look to your right and you will see “Tambobong Beach” signs. From there, it will be 30 minutes going down to the resort. You will pass by the towns Malacapas, Uli and Osmeña. Last town will be Tambobong. Once you see the Covered court, we are a minute away (We are right beside Marianne’s Family Resort). There’s a narrow dirt road leading to the property. 

 

For COMMUTERS: Take a bus to Alaminos, Pangasinan. From there, ride a bus to Sta Cruz/Iba Zambales. Have the driver drop you off at Brgy Bobonot. You can take a tricycle to the resort from there.

 

3) What time is check-in and check-out?

 

Standard check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM. This is to allow deep UV cleaning and disinfection of the rooms. We may check you in earlier if we have no guests.

 

4) Can we rent the whole house? Can we get one or a few rooms only? 

 

Yes you can.  Currently, Sirom Beach House has 7 rooms but we will only be releasing 6 rooms.  Maximum of 12 pax only.  Depending on dates, rates range from 35K to 45K. Private casitas will be released next year.

 

5) Do you provide food? Do you have a restaurant?

 

Yes. We have dining service. We advise you to send your requests at least a day before arrival so we can make arrangements. Catch of the day from the local fishermen is also offered to guests. 

 

6) Can we bring food to cook? 

 

We do not allow guest to bring food. You can purchase everything at the resort.

 

7) Can we bring alcoholic drinks?

No. These can be purchased at the property.

 

8)  Does Sirom accept credit cards?

We do not have a terminal yet but you can pay via paypal.

 

9) How do we pay or reserve? 

We ask for a full payment now to be sent to our account below. You can book through this site. Deposit slip/Screenshot of online bank transfer can be sent to us via email, Facebook, Instagram, or Viber (details below).

 10)  What is your Cancellation or Refund Policy? 

For force majeure or any Covid-related incidents, we can only do rebooking. NO refunds will be given. You can rebook three days before without any charges. We charge 20 percent rebooking fee if changed 3 day or less before arrival.

 

 11)  Do you provide tours?

 

We can organize boat tours for you. There are nearby islands (Colibra and Crocodile for swmming), beaches (Balinmanok and Kupaw-Kupaw for cliff diving and swimming) , Cabuacangan Cave (sunset watching) near the property.

 12  What are your amenities/activities:

 

We have a 40 sqm pool, the first in the area. The pool has an area for children 2 ft deep. The rest is 4-5 feet deep. We also have paddleboards (P300/hour), frisbees, and board games. There is also a plan to have a spa in our other property. More water sports activities coming soon. Magic sing use is only for the suite and premier deluxe.

 

For swimming, please wear a bathing suit/swim shorts or trunks/rashguards. We do not allow guests to swim wearing a t-shirt.

13) Does Sirom allow smoking?

 

Yes but only outside the rooms/common indoor areas. An ashtray will be provided. As a courtesy though, we ask guests to smoke away from other people/guests.

 

 14)  Is Sirom pet-friendly?

 

Yes but only for private bookings now. We only allow one small pet.

15) Are there restaurants or bars near the resort?

    

Most accommodations in Tambobong Beach have guests cook. You may find  some local carinderia but not a proper restaurant or bar. Barangay Tambobong is still a quiet fishing village. It only gets busy during summer, holidays or long weekends.

 17) How is the water/electricity in the area?

 

There are occasional blackouts but we have a stand-by generator set that can power the building but only for a few hours.

 

 18) Is there WiFi ?

 

We do not have WiFi yet but we will be talking to the big telecom companies if they can provide us with one. There is still no connection from the main road. 3G/LTE works well.

 19)  Do you allow Day Tours?

 

 Kindly message us directly for this. For now, we do not allow it.
